The kit includes 8 high resolution STC 520 TVL day/night security cameras, with the ability to add 8 more cameras of your choice for full 16 channel monitoring to ensure all the important locations at your premises are protected. Use the DVR's remote control or push button controls to view all 16 channels split-screen, 9 channels, 4 channels or 1 channel in full screen. It's up to you. The difference between this 'Defend & Deter' system and other DVRs is crystal clear with a HDMI port generating high definition video to your plasma or LCD TV or monitor (HDMI cable not included). There is also a VGA connection for viewing on your LCD monitor or compatible TV (with VGA input). Otherwise, watch the system on your standard TV or CCTV monitor using the RCA video cable in the pack.
